FiveM clothing tool: build your own clothing packs

In the 5MC Forge clothing studio you search clothing pieces from GTA V, paint them on the model in the 3D view and bundle them into a clothing pack. The pack runs as a FiveM resource on GTA V Legacy and FiveM Enhanced. Uniforms for police, EMS or your company come together without hopping between several programs.

  • Male and female (freemode)
  • Colour variants are edited too
  • Export custom peds
  • Legacy and Enhanced

Forge AI designs shirts for Bloods, Crips, Vagos and VNDL, then a whole clothing pack with pants and bandana, in game in FiveM

How to build a clothing pack with Forge

  1. Pick a piece

Search the GTA game files by category or name, for male or female, or load existing pieces from a folder.

  2. Paint

Lay colour, logos and patterns as layers over the original texture. Forge edits the piece's colour variants too.

  3. Fill the pack

Put finished pieces into the clothing pack. An inventory image from the model comes with one click.

  4. Build

The pack becomes a FiveM resource with stream and stream_enhanced, in your export folder or straight on your test server.

Addon clothing in FiveM in short

Clothing in GTA V belongs to the freemode peds mp_m_freemode_01 and mp_f_freemode_01. Each piece consists of a model (ydd) and textures (ytd), sorted by body part and number. Addon clothing adds new numbers without replacing the originals. Well-known collections such as EUP work the same way: many uniform pieces as extra items for player characters.

Forge handles the sorting: you work on the piece in the 3D view and the build produces a pack with the right names and numbers. A detailed guide is in Build a clothing pack with Forge.

What the clothing studio does

  • Painting and layers: colour, your own graphics and patterns over the original texture, back to the original at any time.
  • Colour variants: GTA keeps variants of a piece as separate textures (_a, _b, _c). Forge edits them too.
  • Clean UV with six sides re-lays a messy texture sheet; the existing texture comes along.
  • The mirror hint shows where lettering would appear reversed on one side.
  • Inventory image from the model for your inventory script.
  • Open existing pieces from a folder, for example from a purchased uniform pack, and repaint them.

Your own models: OBJ to clothing

If you modelled your own clothing piece in Blender and fitted it to the ped, “OBJ to clothing” turns it into a GTA piece with ydd and ytd. Forge takes the skeleton and bone weights from a GTA base piece, and the original stays untouched. The piece lands in the pack as a new item with the next free number. You get the body for fitting with “Ped as OBJ”.

Paint and export peds

You open GTA peds such as s_m_y_cop_01 from the game files and add-on peds from disk. You paint them like clothing, for example with your own badge, and export the whole ped as a FiveM resource.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit EUP uniforms with it?

You can open pieces from a folder, including uniform packs, and repaint them. Respect the licence of the pack the pieces come from.

Does the clothing pack run on FiveM Enhanced?

Yes. Since Forge 1.4.7 every build puts stream_enhanced next to stream, converted with Cfx Alchemist. The pack therefore runs on Legacy and Enhanced.

Does a custom model fit the player body automatically?

No. A piece has to be fitted to the freemode body in Blender before it goes into Forge. Forge then takes care of skeleton, weights, names and numbers.

Can Claude build clothing?

The MCP tools cover interiors and weapons. You edit clothing in Forge by hand, but an image model can paint textures on the UV template for you.
