Build an MLO with AI: Claude drives the interior editor
Even with Forge Creator you connect your own Claude to 5MC Forge via MCP. Claude gets the same tools you have in the interface: create rooms, place walls and doors, furnish, validate and build. You see every step in the editor right away and can take over by hand at any time.
- 71 MCP tools
- Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor
- Ctrl+Z undoes AI steps too
- From Forge Creator

How Claude builds your MLO
Connect
In Forge, click “Mit KI arbeiten” (work with AI) and take the ready entry for Claude Code or Claude Desktop with “Kopieren” (copy). The paths of your installation are already in it.
Request the shell
Describe dimensions, levels, rooms and doors. Claude paints the floor plan, sets walls and openings and sends a check image.
Have it furnished
Furnish rooms by recipe, such as office, reception, cell or lounge, and place props against walls, on tables and under the ceiling.
Validate and build
Claude validates the project, repairs door openings and builds the resource or puts it straight on your test server.
What MCP is
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard through which an AI app can use other programs' tools. Forge ships an MCP server. Connect it to Claude and Claude gets tools such as “create room”, “place prop against wall”, “check furnishing” or “build weapon pack” and calls them itself.
What Claude can do in Forge
- Interiors: paint floor plans, levels, stairs, elevators, walls and doors, lights, parking spots, peds and signs.
- Semantic placement: a shelf against a wall, a lamp on a table, lights under the ceiling.
- Search GTA templates and take them over as a project, such as a mansion or the Mission Row station.
- Convert your own OBJ models into GTA objects and place them.
- Create weapon packs, set attachments and textures, add liveries and build.
- With 5mc_forge_ingame see where you stand in game and send commands to the running game.
The MCP tools cover interiors, weapon packs, clothing packs and vehicle liveries. A detailed walkthrough with sample requests is in Build an MLO with Claude, choosing the right app in Which AI app for Forge?.
A good first request
Create a new project workshop_5mc: one ground floor, 24 by 16 metres.
At the front a reception (8 x 6 m) with a double door to the street, behind it
a hall with three car lifts (16 x 10 m) and a roller door on the east side.
Then a check image from above at an angle. Two rounds work well: first the shell with dimensions, levels and doors, then the furnishing. That way you check the floor plan before a hundred props stand in it. That is how our Fight Arena came about: floor plan, stands and lighting via Claude, the finishing touches in the editor.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own Claude account?
For MCP, yes: you use Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex or Cursor with your own account at the respective provider, and we charge nothing for it. The built-in Forge AI from Forge Studio on needs no account of your own.
Does it work with Forge Creator?
No. MCP access is included in every plan, starting with Forge Creator (€19.99 a month). From Forge Studio on, the built-in Forge AI designs for you as well.
Does Claude see what it builds?
Yes. Claude can request a check image from the open Forge. For that the Forge window has to be open and not minimised.
Can I undo Claude's steps?
Yes. Claude works on the same Forge that is open in front of you. Ctrl+Z also undoes Claude's steps, and you can carry on by hand at any time.
