Create a FiveM police uniform: your own pack instead of EUP
Shirt, trousers, vest, badges: a police uniform is made of several parts that have to match. Here is which ones, and how to turn them into your server's own pack.

Many servers grab a ready-made EUP pack for their police. That is quick, but the uniform then looks like on a hundred other servers, and the licence of such packs is often unclear. Your own pack is less work than it sounds: you start from GTA parts that already fit the ped and only swap the textures.
Which parts a uniform needs
| Part | Component | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Shirt or jacket | 11 (top) | Paint shoulder straps and name tag right away |
| Undershirt | 8 | Must match the collar of the top |
| Trousers | 4 | Dark, so it matches many tops |
| Body armour | 9 | Lettering front and back |
| Badges, patches | 10 (decals) | One decal per rank saves many tops |
| Shoes | 6 | A black GTA boot is often enough |
| Hat | Prop 0 | Watch for hairstyles poking through |
Step by step with 5MC Forge
- Create a new pack in the clothing editor, men first. The women's version follows later from the same designs.
- “Add part” opens the GTA fundus with 3D images. Find a plain shirt with a fitting cut and add it to the pack.
- Open a colour of the part and paint it: right in the paint area next to the ped, or with “PNG out” plus UV template into an image editor or ChatGPT and back with “PNG in”.
- Same for trousers, vest and badges. The ped wears the whole pack, so you see at once whether colours and cuts match.
- “To test server” builds the pack and puts it into your local FXServer. In game you find the parts in the clothing store or via /kleidung.
Design that looks good in game
- Keep the folds and shadows of the original texture. Otherwise the fabric looks like plastic.
- Never put lettering across a seam. The UV template shows where the pieces of fabric meet.
- No real agency crests. Your own crest for your RP city looks just as official.
- Ranks as decals (component 10) instead of a separate top per rank. That keeps the pack small.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need Blender for my own uniform?
No, as long as GTA's cuts are enough for you. You only swap textures. You need Blender only for completely new garments that GTA does not have.
Does the pack work on GTA V Enhanced?
Yes. Forge builds the clothing for Legacy and Enhanced; the resource contains both versions.
Why not just use EUP?
EUP is quick but not yours: many servers wear the same uniforms, and the rights to such packs are often unclear. Your own pack belongs to you and fits your city's style.
