New in the framework: gathering jobs, justice, boosting, burglary, buying houses, the police fitness test and fish and chips
Seven new things in one day: three jobs without applications, appeals against fines with lawyers and judges, car theft on commission with a tracker, burglary in real houses that can now also be bought, a fitness test for the police and a dish that connects anglers and cooks.

Several modules went live today at once, and they interlock: what the angler catches, the cook fries. Whoever buys a house is safe from burglars. Whoever gets a fine can fight it, and whoever steals a car has to deal with the police watching the tracker. Here is what is new, with the numbers from the changelogs.
Gathering jobs: fishing, wood, mining
Three jobs nobody needs to apply for: whoever has the tool gets going, no duty and no boss. You fish from the shore, a pier or a boat; after 8 to 20 seconds something bites, then you have a good second and a half to hit the key. The sea holds mackerel, bass, salmon and rarely tuna; lakes and rivers hold trout, bass, catfish and salmon. Every cast costs one bait, and with the licence module you need a fishing licence.
Wood is cut with the axe at almost any tree: three logs per tree, then the tree rests for 20 minutes. The sawmill in Paleto Forest buys logs or saws them into planks, which pay more. The Davis Quartz quarry has twelve rocks for the pickaxe: stone, iron ore, copper ore and rarely a gold nugget, five strikes per rock, back after 15 minutes. Iron ore is smelted into scrap on site and copper ore into copper wire, which gives crafting a second source of raw materials next to garbage collection.
Pay is fair but not unlimited: alone, gathering including travel brings about 1,500 to 2,000 dollars an hour. Whoever sells more than 2,500 dollars in one hour gets only half price for the rest. Tools break with a small chance. Three stations with blips: fish dealer at Del Perro Pier, sawmill, quarry, each with tools, bait, buying and processing.
Justice: appealing fines, lawyers, judges
In the new phone app "Justiz" everyone sees their open fines and can appeal with a reason. While the appeal is open, the payment deadline pauses for up to seven days and there is no automatic warrant. When appealing you can pick a lawyer from the law firm; they get the mandate in their app, see the ticket and the evidence and write a statement that client and judge can read.
Judges on duty see all open appeals with reason, evidence and statement. If upheld, the fine including points is waived. If rejected, it stands with a new 48-hour deadline and a 150-dollar procedural fee. Nobody can decide their own case or one they are the lawyer in. Citizen, lawyer and judge get a notification whenever something happens; whoever changes their mind withdraws the appeal and has 48 hours to pay.
Boosting: car theft on commission
The "Boost" app from the app store hands out jobs for a specific car in a specific district, in five classes from D (the sedan next door) to S (supercar). The car sits locked at the kerb; the map only marks a search area. You break in with a lockpick, from class A with a pro lockpick; the lockpick can snap, and from class B the alarm always goes off.
From class B a tracker sends the position to the police continuously. In the app you hack it in two to four steps of 20 seconds each, only inside the target car; it is easier with two, one drives, one hacks. With an active tracker the buyer will not take the car. Delivery is at the harbour or Grapeseed airfield, paid in dirty money depending on condition, from about 700 dollars in class D to just under 7,000 dollars in class S. Higher classes require police on duty. Successful jobs earn reputation, aborted ones cost it, and reputation unlocks the higher classes. After every job you lie low for five minutes, and a job gives you 45 minutes.
Burglary in real houses
At night you can break into the front doors of detached houses in Mirror Park with a lockpick. The module knows 71 houses in 16 building types straight from the game files; an admin measures the front door once per type, after which the server knows the door of every house of that type. Inside waits a home with seven spots to search: kitchen cabinets, sideboard, TV cabinet, sofa, side table, desk and wardrobe. You find jewellery, watches, cash and rarely a laptop, camera or painting; jewellery, watches and paintings are bought by the fence.
The risk: with some bad luck the break-in triggers a silent alarm, and after six minutes the resident comes home, at which point the police are certainly on their way. At least one officer must be on duty. A house is then locked for 45 minutes and the burglar waits 15. Whoever stands at the broken door within three minutes can follow; every burglary runs in its own dimension.
Buying houses
The same houses are now for sale: every house in Mirror Park whose front door has been measured is offered by the housing module for 180,000 to 240,000 dollars depending on the building type. Inside waits the base game apartment with a larger storage (50 slots, 200 kilograms). The houses appear with their own house icon on the map as soon as their door is known, without a restart. And: nobody can break into an inhabited house, the door is too well secured. Burglaries only happen in empty houses. Recently the police may also enter the home and open the storage with a valid search warrant against the owner; the owner gets a notification if online.
Police fitness test
The Muscle Beach gym has the "police fitness test". First 30 seconds of push-ups, at least 25 are required, and how many you manage depends on your strength. Then two laps along the beach with rings, route and stopwatch in at most 120 seconds; here real stamina and how well you run count. At the end there is pass or fail and a score from 0 to 100. The result sits in the health app under training, and the police see it in the record. Retake after 24 hours. Every ring is checked on the server: order, distance, no vehicle, no impossible speed.
Fish and chips: from angler to cook
The restaurant module gets fish and chips at the fryer: one mackerel and one potato become a dish for 14 to 45 dollars, suggested 24. The mackerel is not available wholesale. It comes from anglers, who can sell their catch to the restaurant instead of taking it to the fish dealer for 12 dollars. In the health app the dish counts 720 calories and 32 grams of protein. Bar and café also have work now: pouring beer, serving whiskey and vodka, mixing cocktails at the Vanilla Unicorn, coffee and latte at the Bean Machine.
Why it belongs together
None of these modules stands alone. Gathering supplies raw materials for crafting and fish for the restaurant. Burglary and housing share the same houses and the same door measurement. Boosting and burglary need police on duty and give them something to do, justice gives citizens a way to push back against the police, and the fitness test lands in the record the police keep anyway. That is why we develop modules together instead of one by one: what 5MCustoms is explains the idea behind it. All modules are in the shop, the changelogs in the portal.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need all the new modules together?
No. Each runs on its own. Together they unfold their connections: buying houses needs the door measurement from the burglary module, fish and chips needs anglers, boosting from class B needs police on duty.
What does an admin need to do before launch?
For burglary and buying houses, measure the front door once per building type; the module shows which types are still missing. For justice, create the jobs for lawyers and judges. Everything else runs once the modules are started.
Where are the exact numbers?
In the module changelogs shown in the portal and the shop. Everything in this article is taken from there.
